Most people in the wine business know if it’s April, then it is the month of Vinitaly! The renowned international wine competition and exposition that is held annually in April in the Italian wine region of Verona in northeast Italy.
Dino had the pleasure of visiting some of our winemakers prior to the exposition! Pictured above is Dino at the vineyards and cellars of Il Conventino, La Fornace and Collemattoni. Was yet another educational and special trip in the northern region of Italy!
Another celebration in April was our good friend Scott Conant’s opening of his new restaurant, Fusco, where they are selling some of our best wines by the glass and bottle. Pictured above is Scott, Dino, Jeremy and Linda enjoying the grand opening!
In addition to all of this excitement, we had visits from two of our winemakers, Fabrizio Gallo of Masut Da Rive and Guido Busetto of Castello Di Sevole. Guido is pictured above with Fresco by Scotto owner, Anthony Scotto, where they are holding the bottle of their new private label collaborated by Vignaioli, made by Guido and sold only at Fresco! Fabrizio enjoyed his time with our salesmen providing tastings and educational trainings to the staff at various establishments here in New York! What better time to enjoy the crisp flavor of Masut Da Rive Chardonnay than the fresh spring month of April.
