Bright red with ruby tinges. Musky red raspberry, mocha and violet on the nose. At once big and restrained, dense and rich, showcasing Collemattoni’s typical thick, strapping mouthfeel but also more lift and refinement than usual. Round and fairly large-scaled but with plenty of verve that will repay extended cellaring. Really classic Brunello.
